한양대학교 관광학부의 '100세 시대의 트랜스포메이션 관광 교육연구팀' 산하 미래혁신관광연구실의 신학승 교수가 지난 6월 26일부터 28일간 제주도에서 개최된 국제관광학술대회에서 다수의 수상을 달성하였다. 국제연구논문부문에서 신학승 교수는 발표 논문의 주저자로 참여하여 최우수 논문상 (Best Paper, 1st Place)을 수상하였다. 또한 신학승 교수는 관광학 부문 우수등재 학술지인 ‘관광학연구’에 대한 적극적인 심사 참여와 논리적인 심사를 바탕으로 우수 심사자에게 수여되는 ‘학술논문 최우수 심사자상’ (Best Reviewer Award)을 수상하였다. 마지막으로 학술대회 기간 동안 개최된 대학생 아이디어 공모전에서 한양대학교 관광학부 2학년 학생들 (학생 명: 이동현, 손가영)로 구성된 ‘재주 많은 제주’ 팀은 “제주 전통문화 관광 활성화 방안 (제주민속촌 Revitalization을 중심으로)” 이라는 주제로 공모전에 참여하였고 우수상을 수상하였다. 신학승 교수는 본 공모전 팀의 지도교수로 참여하여 지도교수 상을 수상하였다.
Prof. Shin achieved multiple awards at the International Tourism Academic Conference held in Jeju Island from June 26th to 28th. In the International Research Paper category, Prof. Shin received the Best Paper Award (1st Place). Additionally, he actively participated in the rigorous evaluation and logical assessment of the academic journal "Journal of Tourism Science," known for its excellence in the field of tourism, and received the Best Reviewer Award, which is given to outstanding reviewers. Lastly, during the conference, a university student ideation competition took place, and a team called "Talented Jeju," composed of second-year students from the School of Tourism at Hanyang University (students' names: Lee Donghyun and Son Gayoung), participated in the competition with the theme "Activation of Jeju's Traditional Cultural Tourism: Focusing on the Revitalization of Jeju Folk Village." They were awarded the Excellence Prize. Prof. Shin served as the team's advisor and received the Advisor Award for the competition.
