서귀포문화도시센터에서 주최한 마을 마이스 사업 연구 결과 발표를 지난 4월 14일 제주도 중문 씨에스호텔에서 진행하였습니다. 지역 소멸과 지역경제 침체에 대응하기 위한 관광의 역할이 중요해 지고 있는 시점에 마을의 여러 유휴자원을 활용할 마을마이스에 대한 개념, 현황, 활성화 방안, 그리고 정책 제언을 중심으로 연구결과를 발표하였습니다. 앞으로 마을마이스를 통해 지역경제 활성화와 공동체 회복에 도움이 되기를 기대합니다. 본 연구는 미래혁신관광연구실의 곽은태 연구원이 함께 참여하였습니다.
On April 14th, the results of the research on the "Village MICE" project, organized by the Seogwipo Cultural City Center, were presented at The Seaes Hotel & Resort, Jeju. At a time when the role of tourism in responding to local extinction and economic downturn is becoming increasingly important, the presentation focused on the concept, current status, activation strategies, and policy recommendations for utilizing the various idle resources of the village through the Village MICE project. We hope that the activation of Village MICE will contribute to the revitalization of the local economy and community recovery. The research was conducted with the participation of researcher Kwak, Eun-tae from the FIT lab.
