Professor Shin attended the “Jeju Forum for Sustainable Social Transition” hosted by the Jeju Development Institute on September 9, 2025. At the forum, he delivered a keynote presentation on the future vision and strategic directions for the development of Jeju tourism and also participated in the panel discussion. In his keynote, Professor Shin presented a comprehensive assessment of the current state of Jeju tourism and proposed diverse future strategies centered on building global-level infrastructure and advancing software-driven tourism development. He further highlighted policy tasks and implementation measures aimed at achieving both sustainability and innovation, underscoring the long-term vision for the advancement of Jeju tourism.
